Statement on Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction Targets
To deeply implement the concept of green and low‑carbon development, advance the company’s sustainable development strategy, and strengthen its greenhouse gas emissions management system, the company is systematically and standardly promoting energy conservation, emissions reduction, and low‑carbon transformation. In this regard, it has set quantified emission‑reduction targets for its greenhouse gas emission boundaries and established corresponding mechanisms for ongoing monitoring and implementation.
Using 2023 as the base year, and drawing on the 2025 greenhouse gas emissions inventory and the outcomes of clean energy substitution initiatives, we conducted a comprehensive review and assessment of the company’s greenhouse gas reduction targets, implementation measures, interim progress, and alignment with those targets. This effort objectively highlights the company’s low‑carbon governance capabilities and emission‑reduction achievements, providing stakeholders—both internal and external—including customers, investors, suppliers, and employees—with reliable, verifiable disclosure. At the same time, it lays the groundwork for advancing the company’s low‑carbon management and ensuring the timely attainment of its emission‑reduction goals.
Explanation of Emission Reduction Target Setting
To achieve stringent control, quantified management, and verifiable implementation of greenhouse gas emissions, the company has designated 2023 as its baseline year for GHG emissions. Covering Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emission boundaries across all operations, it has established absolute reduction targets for the short term (1–3 years) and the medium term (5–10 years), with specific reduction metrics as follows:
